Ifill Events was honored to be included in a candy themed event hosted by The London Candy Company this weekend. The night was in honor of The London Candy Company’s own personal Willy Wonka, Mr. Jignesh “Jigs” Patel, for a snow storm Nemo delayed birthday celebration on Mercer Street. The nightlife and candy loving pasts of Jigs, from across the pond, collided to inspire his creation of The London Candy Company shop on 1442 Lexington Avenue here in NYC. Launched in 2010, it continues to delight customers with its English candy classics that even include rave reviews of coffees and English teas!
The first step off the elevator into this upscale loft turned candy-land dream, showcased delectable highlights like a specialty, multi-tiered birthday cake fit for candy royalty and colorful edible art. The candy décor and chocolate body painting exhibit kept guests in a sugar rush of excitement with sweet edibles at every turn! DJ Suhel ensured that all candy lovers were dancing the night away. Party favors included (of course) candy but a special surprise was a flip book “booth.” A delightful twist on the classic photo booth, the flip book booth gave you seven seconds to dance, be silly or whatever your flavor. 5 minutes later you had your very own personalized flip book!
